8 Truths that Will Encourage You
If you need some encouragement today, here are 8 simple truths that will remind you God has your back.
1. JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE STRESSED OUT DOESN’T MEAN GOD IS.
Aren’t you so glad God isn’t up in heaven biting His fingernails, wondering how He is going to help you out of your situation? Rest assured…He is not stressed over you or your situation!
2. JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE STRUGGLING DOESN'T MEAN YOUR FAILING.
Oh my goodness, somebody is saying, “AMEN!” The only meaning of failure is not trying at all. You are trying in the midst of the struggling and guess what? Where there is struggle, there is growth
3. JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE DISCOURAGED DOESN'T MEAN YOU ARE DEFEATED.
Discouragement happens to all of us. The important thing is that you don’t camp out in a place of discouragement. Go ahead and cry it out, but don’t throw in the towel. Discouragement does NOT equal defeat.(Chilly willies right there yall!)
4. JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE CAUGHT OFF GUARD DOESN'T MEAN GOD IS.
Listen, you absolutely, positively, 100% can NOT catch God off guard. He knows the end from the beginning. He has great plans in store for your life.
5. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BAD MOMENT, DOESN'T MEAN THE WHOLE DAY HAS TO BE BAD.
You know the saying, “Everyday may not be good but there is something good in every day.” Don't let the day run you...you run the day. You have more power than you might give yourself. You have the power to say, “Ok this wasn’t a good moment, but I'm not going to let it ruin my day!”
6. JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T SEE ANYTHING CHANGING DOESN'T MEAN GOD ISN'T WORKING.
God is all the while working behind the scenes. You may not see any change yet, but just you wait! If God said it, it WILL come to pass.
7. JUST BECAUSE IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET, DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Have you discovered yet that God's timing is not our timing? Remember, the scripture in Galatians 6:9-So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
