Decisions that will Transform Your Life Part 2

Here are 8 more Decisions that will Transform your life. Make sure you check out Part 1!

9. Decide you're not going to live like a victim.

I know there are many people who have experienced horrific things in their lives. If that’s you, my heart goes out to you. Know that when I’m talking about this decision, it’s not taking away the fact that you have experienced extreme difficulties, heartache, etc. My prayer is that you realize that through it all, you can come out on the other side and thrive in life.

How do you get there?

Stop talking about what happened to you! Don’t get stuck in a moment of time. You are not that person any longer.

Rise above it all and use what you’ve been through to help others. Show others how to move on and not stay mentally and emotionally where they left physically a long time ago.

10. Decide to live in peace.

Don't get content living in chaos. Be disciplined about what you respond and react to. And then, cancel your subscription to people’s issues. Guard you peace and don’t let anything or anyone steal it from you.

11. Decide to break unhealthy patterns.

Say no to the cycles that have been passed down to you. Have the mantra that IT RAN IN THE FAMILY UNTIL IT RAN INTO ME!

Break the cycle. Remember, just because you didn't come from a healthy family doesn't mean a healthy family can't come from you.

12. Decide you're gonna Listen to God’s voice and not the enemy’s voice.

How do you distinguish the voices? Well, the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came to give LIFE and life more abundantly.

The enemy often takes you back to your past; your mistakes and failures. He wants you to remain stuck.

God loves you just as you are. He forgives, forgets and offers an amazing future filled with joy, happiness and peace.

Make sure you’re listening to the right voice.

13. Decide you are gonna get yourself around some good people.

Did you know that some people you know just might need to become some people you knew?

You need to be around lifters and difference-makers. People you can call and wake up at 3am to pray over you. People who will not tell you all the reasons it can't be done, but instead cheer you on into your destiny!

Remember, one of the most expensive things you can do is pay attention to the wrong people

14. Decide to live on the sunny side of the street.

What does that mean? That you’re going to live on the positive side, the happy side, the faith-filled side, the motivated and inspired side. You are choosing to find the good in every day; even though some days you just might have to look a little bit harder!

We get to decide every single day what kind of day we are choosing to have.

15.Decide that you're going to show up as the best version of yourself.

The best version of you is kind, on time, loving, forgiving, helpful, full of grace and constantly growing. It's wanting the best for others and cheering people on.

It’s being a person of your word. Remember, your kids are watching.

16. Decide that TODAY is going to be an amazing day.

Yep. Every day you can make the decision that no matter what's going on around you, you're not going to be a product of your circumstances, but a product of your decisions and you’re choosing to have a great day!

Change happens when you decide it’s going to happen in your life. It won’t happen overnight, but it will never happen if you don’t make the decision to live life better.

Let’s not live on autopilot and let the day run us. Let’s get back in the driver’s seat and decide what kind of day we will have.

After all, life is as good as you decide it will be!
